The College Scam

The fact is that the United States has a two-class structure; college grads and others. While it's not impossible to cross the lines, it is difficult. I dislike the way colleges are run, and the private ones charge far more than they should and deliver less than they should. I learned more in college by hanging around with the different students than I did hitting the books. When I graduated, I had no idea what I wanted to do, so I went into the military. My degree qualified me for a commission, and led the way to a career. College is more of an endurance contest than an educational process. If you are willing to pay and to put up with the BS, you'll get your degree. That's a lot different than saying you'll get an education.

Liberal academicians have a "Disney World" view, hoping for shared happiness without considering human nature.
