Larry, I've frequented TH many times and reasoned arguments are as common as Bigfoot here. My sarcastic reply effectively sums up the reasoning: Brown is whining because his group has lost control over the reigns of the State. He doesn't like the idea that others are affecting laws that he has no say over. It is the typical response of the statist to bemoan their lack of control when replaced by a new interest.

Don't sweat nawlins' ignorant comments. She tends to be that way. (NOT that there's anything wrong with that!)

There are many people today who despise conservative religious beliefs, but they are quick to say, “We don’t want to restrict your religious freedoms in any way. Just keep your beliefs in the church.” What they fail to realize is that the church is not a closet, and it is our private beliefs that fuel our public acts. Shouldn’t it be this way?
