Contempt For Holder? Not a Wise Move

If Congress does bring Holder down, it will also reflect extremely negatively on Holder's boss, which would help conservatives defeat him in the coming election. Do the right thing because it is the right thing. And, another thing: Are we such a stupid country that we can't do more than one thing at once? Aren't the congressmen divided into so many committee groups so that all the bases can be covered at any one time? Most Americans seem to be able to do their daily jobs, watch reality tv, support their favorite teams, earn extra money on a second job, attend their children's soccer games and some of them still find time to pray, read their Bibles, and attend church activities, and they have no more hours in a day than anyone els

. . . anyone else.
Especially since there is every likelihood that we could bring him down, don't delay justice. Do it now. Then, keep a headcount of all the congressmen who opposed the move, who fought it, and they, too, will feel the wrath when their elections come around. And all of us can feel somewhat cleaner about our political process.

Republicans actually have a nice story to tell. The economy sucks. Anyone with a brain knows it is being floated with money printed by the Federal Reserve. The world economy sucks. Europe is going to go into a deep slow down. Italy, Spain, Greece and France will go off the cliff.

The economies of Britain and Germany will be on a hamster wheel. All their production and growth will go into a state of “just staying even”. They will be like traders that have a bad position, losing you money each day, but your day trading keeps you afloat.
