A reform bill that would really reform heath care would have 4 changes to the current system.
1. Drop all mandates so health insurance could just be for catastrophic health problems.
2. Allow a 3,000 tax credit for each member of a household at or below the poverty line. This should be phased into a deduction until at the median income level it would become only a deduction. This would be a separate deduction added to the standard deduction. In order to get the credit the person would have to have bought the #1 type, at a minimum.
3. Allow a deduction for all health care bought.
4. Allow unlimited health care savings accounts to be monitored by the payer not insurance companies.

This should be allowed for...
