Feminists: Leave My Boys Alone

No, nyc. Kevin is pointing out that there are basic inherent differences between men and women, which the femisists refuse to recognize. It has nothing to do with "putting women in their place".

Women start half the fights.

Men end most of them.

When is brute nature "appropriate,"

So that the woman takes some lumps?

When she wants to dominate her husband, unjustly. This today is much more widespread, IMHO, than domestic violence.

This is a risky argument; but worthwhile:

Domestic violence so-called is nature. Brute nature, I suppose; but it's existed since time began. The woman is subordinate and has to take some lumps. (When they seem appropriate.)

But nature is not served when a boy learns to love men. Or a woman gets butch-amorous. That is counter-productive in the home, IMHO. The reason for this?

It offends Almighty God. We know that because HE said so.

So the full potential for women is to become like men and the full potential for men is to become like women? It seems not too few people are content with their gender and want it the other way. And then there are those who would impose on the rest of us PC gender perversion indoctrination so that we all can 'feel' less guilty for how God created us.

I'm sorry but what planet are you from? Feminists don't just want equal opportunity and for women not to be abused. Any sane thinking individual wants that. Feminists want to emasculate men and remove them from any power. Don't confuse women's rights leaders who wanted things like voting rights for women with today's feminists. That's like comparing the Abolitionists of the 19th century with Al Sharpton!

con't: Considering the very real and widespread problem of violence and abuse against females, feminists rightly would be invested in eliminating this from society. Girls ARE conditioned to accept emotional, verbal and physical abuse from males. And evidently, men aren't invested in restraining their brethren. I don't think I've EVER seen an article in TH about domestic violence. But we can count on a complaint about gay people or feminists every week.

Of course there are inherent differences between males and females. And there are inherent differences between INDIVIDUALS. The point is, no male or female is UNIFORM in character and shouldn't be forced to be. It's not that feminists don't recognize the differences in males and females, they know that there are some INDIVIDUALS who are a little of both or have skills or characteristics that deserve recognition outside of their gender. Feminists believe in the opportunity for an individual's abilities to reach their full potential and not be restricted because of their gender. Why wouldn't YOU recognize or understand that?

This past week an episode of Sesame Street set off a firestorm of debate over whether a boy muppet named Telly should be ashamed that his muppet friends caught him playing with dolls.

In one corner "traditionalists" who called out the episode as gender and sex confused. In the other "modern feminists" who were offended by almost everything the traditionalists said and believe.

In light of these op-eds and arguments I decided to do a bit of personal surveying for myself.

I popped the question to my bride and her best friend as the two couples were headed to...
