You raise Gen Powell's endorsement as somehow being related to a military endorsement, then when I point out the dozens of retired senior officers who've endorsed Romney, you try and shift the conversation to newspaper endorsements. The Times and Post are Liberal Echochambers having nothing to do with military endorsements. Try to maintain one line of reasoning, or in your case, lack thereof.

The NYT and WP would endorse any Democrat even Hitler or Satan. If Jesus were running as a Republican these two papers would endoese hsi opponents.

As Guy reported this morning, Mitt Romney won the coveted endorsement of swing state Iowa's biggest newspaper, the Des Moines Register. He's the first Republican to do so in 40 years, making it the highest-profile to flip from Obama in 2008. It's a pretty significant development for the Romney campaign -- and a little unsurprising after the Obama camp's bizarre behavior with the DMR last week.
