Sorry Tins, I respectfully disagree. Romney was the wrong man at the wrong time. He did not have the fire needed to go after Obama the way the race required. He had too much history of Obama-lite behind him (yes he was in a liberal state), he was way to awkward when he should've been knocking-the-chairs-over passionate and angry. I suspect that had he shown a scintilla of righteous anger and in-your-face rebuttals, things would've turned out differently. He's an honorable man, but was wrong for this election.

Mitt Romney now joins the long list of the kinds of presidential candidates favored by the Republican establishment-- nice, moderate losers, people with no coherently articulated vision, despite how many ad hoc talking points they may have.
