The Lords Day ???; some people believe that Messiah Yeshua arose from the dead early on Sunday morning? If you examine the Gospel of John; you would find that Mary Magdalene [ early on the first day of the week , while it was dark ] went to the tomb just after Sabbath sunset and she found the tomb already empty ; because Yeshua had already risen on the Sabbath ; which is the Lord's Day, because he is the Lord of the Sabbath. Some people believe he died on a Friday; but the correct reading of Scripture shows he died on a Wednesday just before the beginning of the first day of unleavened bread [ on thursday ] which is a high Sabbath. Then on Friday [the preparation day] the women purchased anointing oils but had no time to go to the tomb because the weekly Sabbath began at sunset. Mary Magdalene was all alone when she first approached the empty tomb just after Sabbath day ended; then she went to Peter and John; and they followed her back to the tomb; at that point they all believed that his body had been stolen. So Peter and John left Mary at the tomb weeping in the dark; she could not recognize Yeshua when he approached her in the dark . So when he spoke ; she knew it was him. Mary returned to tell Peter and John but they would not believe. Mary went to the other women but they did not believe either. By Sunday morning Mary and the women approached the tomb and a angel corrected them for their unbelief [ why do you seek the living among the dead] The Sabbath has always represented the promise of the restoration of the Sabbath rest and the GOOD NEWS of the Kingdom of the Heavenly Father and Yeshua coming to earth for all mankind. The original apostles never taught that Sunday was the Sabbath . Sunday worship was established by Constantine when he created his universal religion called Catholicism. Constantine was a sun worshiper and celebrated pagan days of Ishtar that later became Easter and has no connection to Passover or the teachings of Messiah or His disciples. The earliest followers of Messiah celebrated Passover and the days of Unleavened bread as commanded in the law given by Messiah Himself. Passover is a remembrance of Messiah's death and the Messiah arose from the dead on His 7th Day Sabbath, He is Lord of the Sabbath!!! Yes, Messiah Yeshua was unjustly murdered; but He did NOT become sin. Messiah Yeshua died on wednesday and was buried before sunset. Messiah arose from death on saturday Sabbath just before sunset; exactly 3 days and 3 nights; as He said. n the beginning man was formed from the dust (Gen 2:5&3:19) and he became a living creature. The soul ( only means a temporary physical creature alive) sin brought death and when the breath is taken away the creature dies. Man does Not have an Immortal Spirit (John5:39; 12:50; 17:2-3) Will people spend eternity in heaven or hell? Everyone will die once and then comes judgement ; but the Saints are being judged now so that they may hope to be in the first resurrection and receive eternal life. (1Cor15:54).. When people die they all return to dust. The grave will not prevail over them (Matt16:18) hades: the grave - the first death.. (Acts2:27) hades: the grave; the promised Resurrection.. But daemons are held in a place of bondage until the day of total destruction of the wicked (2Pet2:4) tartarosas: (Rev20:2)..(Rev20:4-5) the resurrected saints will rule with Christ on earth for 1000 years to establish the Kingdom and prepare to judge mankind in the second resurrection of Judgement ; which is the continuing Work of Salvation (Eze37:13-14)(Isa29:1-24)(Rev20:11-15) The Book of Life is opened to everyone in the Second Resurrection and for the Time of Judgement there is still an opportunity to receive Eternal Life.. The final White Throne Judgement begins a New Eternity (Matt.10:28) : is a Fire that totally burns up - FOREVER - destroying the wicked that will not repent (The Father is an all consuming Fire to the Wicked and not even their memory will remain with Him).. Then the Heavenly Father will create a new heaven and earth; which no eye has seen or ear heard what the Father has in store for those who Love Him. The Father will be over all, through all and in all; The saved will be United in His Holy Spirit of perfect righteousness, peace, and love..(NEW JERUSALEM) For more info: on the Resurrection of the Dead & the Soul? Why December 25th?

Greetings from Lambscry; http://abibletopic.blogspot.com/ when Messiah Yeshua returns and establishes kingdom on earth then all the nations will assemble to celebrate the High Holy Sabbath of Tabernacles to honor Messiah Yeshua the King. (Zechariah 14:17 – 19) my blog is dedicated to examining biblical truth with the help of the original Hebrew and Greek languages. When Messiah Yeshua returns He will restore all things and teach true obedience to His Heavenly Father's commandments. Modern Christianity has rejected the Sabbath; why?

Greetings from Lambscry; John the Baptist father Zechariah was of the priestly line of Abiyah which is a specific family division that is designated to serve at the Temple for only one 14 day cycle each year. But you are correct that all the priestly divisions would assemble in the spring for the seven days of unleavened bread and after the summer harvest for the eight day High Holy Sabbath assembly of Tabernacles. The division of Abiyah serves near the end of what we call the month of June. For more info please visit; http://abibletopic.blogspot.com/ "Messiah's birth and Holy Sabbath"

Greetings from Lambscry; Messiah Yeshua was born on His High Holy Sabbath assembly of Tabernacles that occurs in late September after the summer harvest is completed. Messiah Yeshua was circumcised on the eighth day which was also the last great Sabbath day of the celebration of Tabernacles. Mary and Joseph obeyed Yahweh's commandments and circumcised Yeshua on the eighth day and offered to pigeons as an offering for the firstborn son. When Messiah Yeshua was 30 years old he began proclaiming the Good News of His Kingdom on His commanded assembly of Tabernacles and 3 1/2 years later Messiah Yeshua was crucified on Passover. Greetings from Lambscry; Messiah Yeshua was born on the High Holy Sabbath assembly of Tabernacles which is celebrated in late September after the summer harvest is completed. The Romans would collect the tax as the people gathered in Jerusalem to present their tithes and offerings at the temple.
