One Rape Two Victims

I agree strongly with what you said, Tacitus X. I support abortion in the first trimester but I am troubled by those that are done later, especially the late-term abortions. A woman should not be forced to bear a baby from a rape, if she wants to do so I have no problem with that. As far as it being "healing" to the woman to carry the product to a rape to term, I question that. It is a tragedy to all and rapists should still be executed.

Not defending any rapists but there have been SO MANY false identifications and convictions. I think that if the woman carries the baby then DNA be obtained as soon as possible. If it matches the accused rapist THEN IS THE CORRECT TIME TO EXECUTE HIM.

Rachel Maddow and My Lesson in Civility

My very best friend is a liberal and I am a redneck conservative, go figure. In our 14 years of friendship we have both moved some of our opinions toward the middle. I am not happy with the implication, Mr. Thomas, that PRO-LIFERS are against contraception. That is the attitude that will give Obama the White House again. I have listened to Ms. Maddow at times but always have to switch channels when she makes outrageous statements. She IS a nice-looking woman and I would love to "watch".

Abortion's Hard Case Exceptions

I flagged my own comment in error, I meant to hit the reply button. As a nurse over 40 years I have met a few women that were carrying babies that resulted from rape or incest. Not one stated anything about a "healing effect". If she meant that they felt a little better when the baby was delivered than they did right after the rape I will concede that she might be correct in that instance.
I think he has a reason for everything he does.
The quote from the Bible (GASP, are we still allowed to say Bible?) that is applicable is "He is a liar and the truth is not in him". Don't know where it is found but it's in there. That should get me on the "Weasel's List" I will be shuttled off to one of those camps since our lily-livered and ineffectve Congress voted that law in and Mr. President was glad to sign it. U.S.citizens can be imprisoned without a warrant and held forever (if they want to) and they call it 'national security'. You can look it up, it is there. God Bless our Country.
The Nanny-state is in full swing. Not only does the USG pay half of the county's population it makes rulings that effect all of us. Do you not think that (if he wins again) that Our President will not change this ruling back to just what it was? I am certain that this and other blogs are being monitored by the weasels in order for us to face retribution later. I am cutting down on my public comments in order to avoid this but sometime things just need to be said. Since I am 74 there is not too much they can do to me. If you can, just add up all the lies he has told us since he started running in 2008. He told several lies in the STOU address and failed to address the economy of this nation.

Obama's Justices vs. Obama

Lamar15 Wrote: Feb 05, 2012 3:12 PM
This is a positive action. One can only hope that these Justices do not "rubberstamp" any actions that Obama desires. Kagan should recuse herself on some matters but it appears that she will not. Maybe these two will take their oath of office seriously and do the honorable thing. After all, they have a lifetime sinecure now.
Just because at least 80% of the news media are Obama supporters and are themselves despised by 80% of the general population Mona gets all in a wad. The real people of the country will go with their gut feelings this year. I am not a Gingrich fan but I believe he is the choice this year and will be the choice over Obama. People are sick of the Media, sick of Obama's policies of trying to destroy America. Romney has been "just too smooth" and will not beat Obama if nominated, IMO.
And I love her sarcastic tongue.
