George Bush went to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. He stated that "We will rebuild New Orleans no matter how long it takes and no matter how much it costs." When I heard that, I immediately thought it was a Socialist statement. Who here, agrees? Where does the executive branch get the authority to redistribute my wealth to the Gulf Coast to help clean up after a hurricane. As we all good conservatives know, that if a power is not explicitly defined as a federal power then it's left to the states. To think otherwise is simply Unconstitutional and Socialist Thought.

Many Republicans here talk about the experience of their party with implementing small government. Are they talking about the AIG bailout, the airline bailout, the auto bailout, the endless pork spread 2001-2010, their Faith-Based Initiatives, the ethanol mandates, the farm subsidies, the attempted mandated school prayer sessions, the social engineering in Iraq and the nation building in Afghanistan? To say Republicans are for small government.....it tis a joke my friends.

Ronald Reagan built up the largest peacetime budget deficit in history back in the day, and also signed the largest peacetime tax increase. Republican George W. Bush took over a $200 billion annual budget surplus left by Democrat Bill Clinton, and handed President Obama a $1.2 trillion annual deficit. Where was the Tea Party movement when Republicans were looting the Treasury?

Tea Party at fault? Hmmmm.....All talk, all blather, all bloviation...time went by and nothing was accomplished, other than the debt limit was increased while the Tea Party succeeded in making the debt limit the object of everyone's attention in the WORLD. Mission NOT accomplished. Capiche?

Here's what Republicans have been trained to say about Afghanistan. "More Americans have died in Afghanistan in Obama's one term than died in Bush's 2 terms." Yes, Bush took his eye off the ball and waged an eight year social engineering project in Iraq getting 4700 Americans killed there. Meanwhile the Afgan theatre of ops simply languished and let the Taliban regroup. An epic failure of Republican leadership. Obama re-tooled the effort against terrorism by getting out of Iraq and bringing the fight to the Taliban in Afghanistan!

Let's see...how many Americans died in Libya...and how many Americans died in 'Fast and Furious.' Add all that up and compare that to how many Americans died on 9-11, because the Republican party was preoccupied with ginning up a war against Russia in 2001 by scrapping the ABM Treaty. People, WAKE-UP!!!
