I think you may have missed something, Larry. When she talked about her resistance to helping the white farmer, the NAACP audience reacted with great approval. That shows the 'racial bigotry' of the audience. ( the term racism is overapplied; I prefer racial bigotry) The focus was not on her, but the audience! Remember, the NAACP had just accused "ALL" the tea party people of being 'Racist", which was a lie! The NAACP audience in this clip showed their true character!
