"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -- Benjamin Franklin "Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government." --James Madison The two quotes above sum up the problem with our government. The model that it was built on never included entitlements; people in our past were prouder than that.
"To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it." -- Thomas Jefferson, letter to Joseph Milligan, April 6, 1816 In other words our republic was not designed to redistribute wealth. What is mine is mine and what is yours is yours. Due to government overstepping its boundaries and creating entitlements we have a deficit.
When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic. -- Benjamin Franklin And so it begins!

"Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare but only those specifically enumerated." -- Thomas Jefferson "When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -- Benjamin Franklin "[T]he government of the United States is a definite government, confined to specified objects. It is not like the state governments, whose powers are more general. Easy explanation. The so called scientist that you speak of cooked the science to give them the answer they wanted; it is very simple follow the money. If they disprove their theory they lose the money. Real science uses deductive reasoning - CO2 does not reflect nor absorb heat energy well, however water vapor does both very well and considering that the oceans, rivers, and lakes create more water vapor than anything man made the so called scientist had to pick something else. They picked carbon dioxide because the scientist know most people are intellectually challenge and when people hear the word carbon they think of black and everyone knows that anything black gets hot when it sits in the sun.
Apparently under the Bush administration the operation must have been working because the left did not demand an investigation, and the media did not report on it. The operation must have gone wrong under Obummer because the media did not make a big deal about the weapons making it to Mexico. Or did the mission do exactly what Obummer, Holdem, and Hilarious wanted it to do, and still the press did not run with a big "Watergate" like story.
No where in the article does the year 2008 show up. Fast and Furious was a new mission started in early 2009 coinciding with the swearing in of Obummer. Revisionist history only makes one dumber.
