Not a chance. If Obama tries to do it without Congressional approval it wll just be one more nail in his coffin.

Where do you think the Taliban gets their guns from?

Why don't you tell us Allison?
MudontheTires Wrote: Jul 08, 2012 3:06 PM
"It's to stop guns being sold to criminals and terrorists."

You mean Fast and Furious?

It's to disarm the citizens and turn them into subjects. Just like gun control has always been about.

The Taliban members take their FOID card into a gun store, fill out the paperwork, then come back after the waiting period to pick of their gun, of course. Oh, wait. . . .
You really are an ignorant fool.

It's about time..I doubt we'd get that news from the drive by media cartel. My legislature is out of session but my assemblyman is a good conservative. That's a question that needs an answer. We americans need to stand up against that nest of vipers and demand our candidates promise to defund and evict that vipers nest from our shores.

The Taliban probably get guns, grenades,RPGs,etc.from Iran and China.

No civilian gun dealer is selling RPGs and other military arms.
Those are coming from GOVERNMENTS.
Jay Wye Wrote: Jul 08, 2012 10:17 AM
they MAKE them;
the gunsmiths of Pakistan's FATAs (Pathans) are very good at making firearms, even AK-47s.
Plus, the communist governments are well known for trafficking such arms,to destabilize lawful, democratic governments.
Jay Wye Wrote: Jul 08, 2012 10:15 AM
Plus, what you support has not been shown to be effective in ANY nation on Earth;criminals and terrorists STILL manage to get guns, despite strict "gun control". Often, the guns come from government stocks, intentionally. (like Comrade Obama's Fast and Furious intentional gun running to drug cartels)
Also, guns are often stolen from police or government. FEDGOV is missing over 1000 of their guns as of 2003,that doesn't include state and local gov't "losses".
One more "gun control" law isn't going to change any of that.
Jay Wye Wrote: Jul 08, 2012 10:11 AM
it's ALREADY against the law to sell firearms to felons or those intending to commit crimes.
but your ilk would prevent ordinary decent citizens from defending themselves with the best suited tool for the job.

No Frog, I haven't yet, but I'm hearing more and more about states that are telling Obama and the libs where to stuff it.
Lady Wolverine Wrote: Jul 08, 2012 9:23 AM
You've already proven that you'll believe any lie you're told by Democrats or your OWS trash friends, Allison, so why don't I find it hard to believe you bought that one too?

Lady Wolf: Alabama is passing legislation that forbids the U.N. to confiscate any of their real estate. Hv you heard of this happening in any other states?

Whenever the ends of Government are perverted, and public liberty manifestly endangered, and all other means of redress are ineffectual, the People may, and of right ought to reform the old, or establish a new Government; the doctrine of non-resistance against arbitrary power and oppression is absurd, slavish and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind. –Declaration of Rights, Maryland

Unlike America’s original rebel Christians who dumped the Brits’ taxed tea into Boston Harbor and told King George that he could kiss their King George, today’s evangelicals, I believe—especially the dandy ministers who love to be loved—would have...
