How wonderful that 10+/- people are employed monthly to maintain the private estate contributing to the local economy and providing jobs and value to the community. In addition the fact that the residence is maintained contributes not just to its value but also to the surrounding area increasing the tax base for the state. The taxes on the place alone probably pay a few salaries. Should this investment be used daily, monthly or never, I am sure the numerous people that benefit from the financial contributions could care less.
The University of North Dakota has a Fencing Club!!!! Time to get out before the stupidy spreads. All people with kids in this school that can tell the difference between a real sword (has a sharp edge like a knife only longer occasionally has both edges sharp) and fencing equipment needs to needs to pull their kids out of this school now!! Your kids are in danger. Stupidity should be a crime.
NDSU's Police and Safety Office Director Ray Boyer needs to by fired for stupidity! Fencing equipment although affectionately called swords are no more a weapon than a nurf "gun" is a fire arm. The imbecile that would confuse a fencing saber with a weapon saber has no business being employed. The fact that people trust the safety of their children to a School that would employ this depth of incompetence is disconcerting.
If one were to look at the numbers, I know the counties that I looked at, the only under represented group is the White Male. Shows you how Afirmative action can get out of control. I think we are to a point where the ONLY factor to one being hired/accepted should be their qualifications, there should be NO identifing info on the applications as to age, sex or race.
