It's not going to get better until Republicans (especially conservatives) stop being wimps. We're so concerned about being perceived as nice guys we leave most of our best weapons on the table. A nasty spiteful little man like Obama is called more likable than Romney and we just let it stand. Where was the ad showing Obama promising to be "more flexible" with the Russians? Where was the ad with a tiny abortion survivor being left to die on a stainless steel table top? Where was the ad with Obama and his people promising much higher energy taxes? Or Obama saying he wanted to "spread the wealth around?" As for saying we need to accept all the tripe gcarlson705 just wrote forget it. Let them pursue social suicide by themselves.

Even when the economy is terrible, when the incumbent Democratic president has not been able to demonstrate success on job creation or growth, and even when the standard of living for Americans is declining on his watch, the country will choose a Democrat "who cares about the problems of people like me" over the Republican. That alone is enough to make Republican heads spin for some time.
