If the good Generals had given the word to go in, Im sure the Pres wouldve responded as such. This is politics, pure and simple, on the part of Fox and the Repubs, at the expense of these good men's lives. And enough with the Muslim stuff already- it just makes you seem ignorant at this point. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/10/26/panetta-military-lacked-enough-information-to-intervene-during-benghazi-attack/

Hmmm.. Seems as if my response disappeared or was deleted....
Answer the question, Ray. I didnt help write the bill- your boys in Congress did.
Way to skim these posts. I went where your boy, Corlyss, suggested. He helped me make my point.
1. Clearly, neither of you can read. 2. I went where yoour boy, Corlyss, suggested. 3. Also, clearly, you all have difficulty seeing the big picture.
Oops...sorry for the double-post.
Um....with all due respect, it was career military men, General Ham and General Dempsey, as well as General Patreus, who decided it was not a good idea to send in troops to the area. From Fox news: "The basic principle is that you don't deploy forces into harm's way without knowing what's going on; without having some real-time information about what's taking place," Panetta told Pentagon reporters. "And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation." Blaming Obama for these fine men's deaths is an ugly political move, and a disrespect to our military and its leaders.

Explain to me then, why did the Republicans shoot down the recent bi-partisan Veteran's Job Act, to give soldiers who are returning home jobs in the police forces and forestry industries? This was even co-written by some Repubs, who then voted it down. Was this Obama's fault for not crossing the line? Or was it Republicans who did not want to help create jobs, which would have looked good for the current administration? A compromise to assist our fighting men and women, AND help the economy, and the Repubs shot it down. Why?
