Ethics Challenged Maxine Waters Now Top Democrat on Banking Committee

If this weren't so pathetically disgusting, it would be truly laughable. Geithner hasn't paid his taxes and he's the treasury secretary. Charlie Rangel had the same problem and he was in charge of writing tax law. He doesn't look like he can write his own name. After he is caught and punished, his dim-bulb constituents in Harlem re-elect him, TWICE. Now we have avowed SOCIALIST Maxine Pugly Waters in charge of banking. Oh. My. G*d. Kill me now. The country is already dead.

What about Jesse Jackson Jr. being re-elected after he dropped out of the race because of mental problems? It seems many blacks are not very thoughtful about for whom they vote.

And not just re-elected; he (supposedly) had 80% of the vote!

I'd be carefull--for every Maxine Waters and Jesse Jackson Jr. who gets 70-80% of the vote in their district there a cro-magnon doofus Republican like Todd Aiken or Richard Mourdock who wins their district quite handily.

LubeJob: You have confused your (incorrect, of course) belief that Maxine Waters is a Socialist with your right to call her an "avowed socialist". It's OK to not like her--there's plenty of reasons to not like her--but that doesn't make it ok to make up lies about her.

Stoopid Jerry Springer @ssHoles each and every one of those black eyed pieces of SHlT!

Actually, she did slip up once and said the Democrats were socialists. There's a video of it.

She is completely wrong-headed and very un-American in her world view.

Bruce, she is a Black racist

Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters has been placed into the position of Ranking Member on the House Financial Services Committee. This is the same committeee that deals with banking matters and more specifically, banking regulation. The problem? Waters was only cleared (which doesn't mean innocent in Washington) of ethics charges in September over allegations she abused bank bailout funds to benefit a bank run by her husband in California. A refresher:

Last summer [2010], the House Ethics Committee charged the entrenched California congresswoman with three violations related to her wheeling and dealing on behalf of minority-owned OneUnited...
