The pressuring of banks to have no dealings with arms or ammunition of any kind, is working, it seems. A friend thought to buy her husband some ammunition for his gun, so he could go to the shooting range, but when she got to the check-out, her debit card was denied. After 3 tries, she called the place...Bank of America...they informed her that they no longer could support anything to do with gun, arms or ammunition. Now, understand people this was HER money, NOT theirs, but they were intent on restricting her use of HER money, to buy ammunition. She and her husband are in the process of transferring their home mortgage, checking, etc, from BOA to any other bank at all. And I guarantee I won't be using BOA at all. EVER!

Well, Ms. Mitchell, you can parse sentences and so on, but to me, protecting LIFE, is a values issue. And strangely enough, advocating for life is the reason why I am also against same-sex marriage. It all comes back to values. Values determine our worldview, and our worldview determines our actions. My actions are NOT value neutral, do not attempt to portray them as such by insisting on your choice of wording and titling.

Once all these guns are confiscated....where will they point fingers of blame next time?
WOW! The irony and hypocrisy...to be enforced by Eric Holder? Does Fast and Furious mean anything at all to POTUS?
Ah ha! So it is RACISM that drives Michael Moore to have ARMED guards around him. Well, now everybody knows, from his own mouth, that he's a racist.
In all actuality...far too many hyphenated Americans have been the perpetrators of racism and I have been on the receiving end of it far too often. Yeah, I look WASP.. and far too many 'hyphenated Americans' have shown their mind-set (and it sounds as if you are showing yours) by judging me by my looks. So, to re-cap; perhaps 'hyphenated Americans' have been the victims of racism; and perhaps they have perpetrated racism against 'whites' a lot on their own. But racism is still racism...and it's just as wrong from one side, as from the other.
As I thoroughly believe that there will come a day that we will have to protect ourselves against our govt....I think we should all have such weapons.
Thank you. So true.
Stupidity.
The sad fact of the matter is this; you can ban, even destroy all guns, box-cutters, ropes, planes, jet-fuel, clubs and even knives. But you will not disarm evil. I for one WANT my guns to be far more lethal than anything some mentally deranged nut, filled with evil intent, who goes on a rampage around me. Because I WILL use them. I prefer pepper spray, but if I can't close that distance....guns work also. Think about the man in Oregon, who stopped a shooter in a mall. The nutso shooter, saw a gun being trained on him, and decided that he was in a game of points and that he would deprive anyone else of getting points on him, by shooting himself. The guy with the gun, is elated that he had a gun!
