Only a couple problems...... The hardcore devotees will simply see it as fighting fire with fire and a necessary evil if Dems are to compete with Repubs. Those that are less involved in politics are just going to change the channel with a shrug. Same thing as the whole "You didn't build that" motto, it just isn't going to resonate with anyone except Fox News watchers (who already dislike Obama). Conservatives are going to have to get a better grasp on the American public if they want to get some attention. Well, positive attention anyway. They can always get lots of negative attention with another debt ceiling fight.
