The elections proved that this type of bubble-thinking has the GOP ending up the odd-man out. Ms. Palin can waste all the time she wants on "vetting" the President. - she's got the time. As for We, the People, we've done the vetting and we have chosen Barack Obama as our President. It is the will of the people in accordance with our Constitution. Palin can waste her time. America can't. Congratulations to both the Obama/Biden and Romney/Ryan for presenting America with a choice.

Allen is making an even bigger fool of himself than normal. By now, the Clerk of the Congress has already given Allen's former office to somebody else. While he'll lose his court case, he'll also give all of America a big laugh.

This reminds me of the governor standing in the state house saying "segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever." Each and every one was backed down by the threat of federalization of their national guard. Nothing would be more fun than perp-walking the governor who refuse to implement the law of the land.
