I never thought I would see the day when a US president would vote to kill such a project that would create tens of thousands of good jobs for working people while reducing our dependence on foreign oil. If this had been done by another country it would be considered an act of war. I grew up in Alaska during the time of the pipeline in the 1970s and it gave a huge boost to the state economy. My dad worked on the project and his good salary put food on the table and a roof over our heads. Obummer is denying this prosperity to tens of thousands of American families.

Even though foreign aid is only about 1% of the federal budget, that is still a HUGE sum of $30 billion that should be ended and our taxes reduced accordingly.
