Charles, good column, and spot on with the exception of reservations about cutting the military. We don't need them stationed in all the places where they currently are. For example, I was stationed in Germany during a time that there was a very real possibility the Russians might stream through the Fulda Gap. Troops are still there, doing little but stimulating the German economy. See Ransom's column today. Keep up the fine work, please.
