Charles, there are actually three sides in Washington now. The Statist Dems, the Establishment Repubs, and the Constitutionalist Tea Party. The Dems and the Repubs are both committed to maintaining the status quo. They both agree big government is good, they just disagree on the magnitude. The Tea Party types advocate limited government. They challenge the status quo. That's why the Tea Party folks are ridiculed by both parties. The conflict is between those who benefit from big government and those who are being forced to pay for it while being demonized and targeted by the media/government coalition. This divide will widen, not narrow. There can be no compromise with tyranny.

Four years ago, there was a sense that America was clearing its last hurdle on race and ideological animosity. There was pride in electing the first black president, even by those that didn't cast their vote for Barack Obama. Fast forward to even before Friday's massacre, and there was a malaise hanging over the nation ripping it apart on so many levels. Americans pitted against fellow Americans. It's not good enough to lose elections anymore, there has to be complete demonization and the absence of any compromise.

God is under attack, traditional values are being abandoned, and capitalism is considered heartless...
