Oakland’s Radical Occupy Teachers Finally Reveal Their Goal: ‘Abolish Capitalism’

Give them what they want. Confiscate 90% of their salaries and redistribute it to the proletariat. Require them to work on public lands doing physical labor without compensation during their summers off from teaching so they can develop empathy with the workers. If they don't like it, that's too bad. The needs of the State are the only priority. If they are unable to perform physical labor they are a drain on society and should be "disappeared." It's all about providing for the collective good. Their individual wants are irrelevant. Forward!!

If the 25% of the work force that wasn't working was allowed to work alongside those already working everyone would have a job and the work load per worker would drop 20%. Supposedly people on welfare make as much as those working so it wouldn't cost any more money to allow them do work for their checks. Production team leaders would have to ensure that slackers actually did their jobs, just like sergeants in the Army make sure every soldier does his/her duty.

At least the teachers of Occupy Oakland are finally being honest about their political agenda.

They’re openly calling for an all-out abolition of capitalism.

The Occupy Oakland Education Committee – comprised of public school teachers from the Oakland, California school district – has renamed its publication “ClassRoom Struggle” and its platform TEACH, which stands for “Transform Education, Abolish Capitalism and Heal.”

Finally the radical teachers have acknowledged what we’ve been saying all along: they want to end capitalism and replace it with a socialist economy, quite possibly enforced by a totalitarian form of government.

And what, precisely, is their strategy?...
