The lifespan statistics you cite have been long discredited. Homosexuality is simply about being solely attracted to adult members of your same gender, nothing else. It cannot accurately be compared to an addiction because a sexually active homosexual can live an otherwise average life -- his or her sexuality does not automatically interfere with forming relationships of any kind or having a successful career -- while an actively drinking alcoholic will inevitably destroy all of his or her relationships and any job they try to hold. Also, in case you hadn't noticed, sex has become a sport throughout our culture -- just look at the media or go to a college campus. And there is no cure!
