In response to:

John McCain and Lindsey Graham Call Rand Paul Filibuster a "Political Stunt"

I enjoy that many liberals are being called out as hypocrites for their refusal to condemn Obama's infringement on civil liberties, but it must be said that many Repubs who supported Rand yesterday also voted for NDAA, which allows the indefinite detention of Americans without trial. They are hypocrites as well.

It does not. The Supreme Court has already declared that the writ of habeas corpus i.e. the requiring that someone be presented to a judge applies to all peopl, and the SCOTUS takes precedence over a badly written law.

Start educating yourself by reading this: http://rt.com/usa/obama-ndaa-detention-president-288/

Nathan-Why would we be educating ourselves by reading a story on a Russian news agency network that only gives one side of the story? I have more faith in what the SCOTUS said about it. BTW-The detainees at GITMO that they're complaining about in the story are not Americans.

As Michelle Malkin would say, beltway barnacles John McCain and Lindsey Graham have crawled out from under their rock of irrelevancy to feed their attention starved egos. McCain and Graham are slamming Senator Rand Paul's efforts to stand up for civil liberties of American citizens, which he did through filibuster yesterday. They've even gone so far as saying Paul has done a disservice to the debate surrounding drone use. Apparently, pointing out the droning of American citizens on U.S. soil is unconstitutional and that Americans deserve due process before being killed is totally not helpful, or something.
