This article is rubbish. Obviously some leftist extremist slant. Firstly, they put NRA and mass shooting together. Sorry, but Law abiding, proper people, who may beling to the NRA, did not do thiese mass shootings. We can make a stronger connection that most mass shootings are by leftists loons. Secondly, they changed the orignal from "sell" to "show". This is a convention-people are allowed to sell their wares. And Thirdly, MOST AMERICANS DO NOT agree with Obama to expand background checks; we want expansion on mental health issues to avoid the crazies, mostly left-leaning, from trying mass shootings.

HOUSTON (Reuters) - The National Rifle Association on Sunday wrapped up its first national meeting of members since the high-profile mass shootings last year at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, and the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

The convention ended with a prayer breakfast and a presentation by rock musician Ted Nugent, which was closed to the media.

Speakers throughout the weekend included NRA Chief Executive Wayne LaPierre, Texas Governor Rick Perry and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
