It’s amazing how the responsibilities of our presidents have changed over time. There was a time when our country prided itself for not getting involved with other countries. Our foreign policy was don’t touch me and we won’t touch you. As the world’s technology began to advance, so did the weapons. This made our country more vulnerable than ever before. Gone were the days of not getting involved in other countries. The presidents responsibilities have became far greater than any previous presidents could ever dream of. Obama deserves credit for making a decision about a plan that was happening in completely different part of the globe.

1. It wasn't the weapons, it was travel. Now foreign countries could cross the oceans and come to wage war on U.S. soil. That would be both covert and overt warfare.

Biden came out swinging, using a Romney quote from 2008 to frame his comparison between the GOP presidential hopeful and Obama. The vice president noted that on his first run for the White House, Romney said:
