As always, a great column. You are a national treasure, Mr. Buchanan. I have always been saddened to see you abused, as you are. You are right. Half of America does not want to hear what you have to say, agree with what you say, or want you to be allowed to say it! But the other half, more or less, agrees with you 100%, and are too beaten down into silence. Thank you for your wisdom and insight. God bless you in this wonderful, blessed season. Merry Christmas.

So begins the Declaration of Independence of the 13 colonies from the king and country to which they had given allegiance since the settlers first came to Jamestown and Plymouth Rock.

The declaration was signed by 56 angry old white guys who had had enough of what the Cousins were doing to them. In seceding from the mother country, these patriots put their lives, fortunes and honor on the line.
