Obama's slogan didn't win anything. McCain supporters gave the country away by supporting a loser. Plus the media tricked the country and hid everything about Obama. We were fooled. Which was easy because of what Americas have become.

I think Micheal Medved is out of touch here. I certainly believe that people have "given up their irreducible goodness and decency". Or at least they've compromised it. Our "our churches and small businesses" weren't "universally" corrupted, but lots of them have been. Small businesses have turned to government out of desperation or greed and are seeking handouts. Churches have been going leftist and forgetting families and God. Barack Obama is more of a symptom than a cause of this though. Furthermore, cops are becoming little more than tax collectors and the enforcement arm of the nanny state.
