I work for a larger hospital that has just installed the EPIC system last year. It's terrible. We went from using a manageable system that was directly related to the care of the patients that we had to an unwieldy system that should only be used on older medical patients. As a birth center nurse, we don't see a lot of "penal pain" but we have to use this draconian system because it's mandated by the hospital due to Obamacare. We weren't told this was a government mandate but I was suspicious since it accesses all medical records from all the clinics in town and every doctor around. Nothing is private about healthcare except that friends and family are told that "according to HIPPA we can't tell you anything about that person." We are losing our individuality and independence. WAKE UP people.

Truth is things are they really are, as they have been and as they will be. Truth seeks for truth. God is all light and truth.

Differences do not necessarily equate to strengths. Unity is preferred over discord in families, businesses and communities. Our commonalities are what binds us together rather than our differences. The DIVERSITY mantra is not really accurate. It's nice to have diversity but it is not what gives us strength. Strength comes when we see the common bonds that we all share not our differences.

I take complete exception to your comment that "Catholic or Mormon religions that have taught them to hate themselves". Where did you get that false information? God's teaching is against SIN not against the sinner (that includes all of us as we are all sinners and all children of God). True religion shows man how to be happy and to have peace in this life and joy in the life to come. If a religion condones what God has stated is EVIL, be it homosexuality, adultery, lying, stealing, murder, etc...... then it is NOT a religion that God made but one that man has created for himself. There are many so-called religions that do just that but Catholics and Mormons are NOT in that category. Your "accepting environments" are just a faux-religion.

Actually Ann, I believe the adultery lobby is found in Hollywood and they ARE constantly "throwing their sin up in people's faces" and "trying to indoctrinate our kids". I find both sins equally reprobate but I also know that each person is a child of God and many are deceived. Thanks for your comment. :-)

The most INTOLERANT people I have met are those who view homosexuality as a "right". They will not let others have another point of view if it conflicts with their self-justified behavior.
