They didn't demand substantiation for Obamacare ..."If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, period." It was a LIE and they are continuing to lie to get the (non)Affordable Care Act to continue...
Cancze - "Russia is re-establishing itself as a superpower...." that can't even get an Olympic venue right with water, flushing toilets, light bulbs and doorknobs. The fact that America is declining is mainly due to the last 50 years (since Vietnam) that there have been bashers of propagandists that have changed American History and moved this country into a immoral and (dare I say it) wicked nation. Russia has the same power hungry leaders that we have and since history repeats itself pretty regularly, this will not end happily for the common people. Romney may have been able to slow down the degeneration of this great nation but the people haven chosen not to be stopped in their decline. The Cold War was a stand-off. The next round will not end as well.
If anyone really believed that you could add a layer of government bureaucracy to healthcare and then lower the price, they were extremely foolish and gullible. If anyone still believes that the government can mandate doctors to give quality care with substandard reimbursement and they will gladly do so, they are even more foolish, gullible and deceived.
If people really expect change in who wins elections, they better push for voter registrations to be "cleaned up" and voter ID's in every election. Or we will get more of the same.

I agree with you and point out that this "logic" may be the root of the expensive trips, parties and vacations that the POTUS and his family like to have. They are taking the "ill-gotten gain" back. Just wondering....
We American's already have a gender neutral pronoun. It's called "IT".
"a loving relationship"?????

Canine - I am of the "baby boomer generation" (albeit the tail end) and it is a falsehood to say that I don't care about the future of this country or my progeny. I have never planned on getting any SS as I look at it as a "poor tax" that is used on the poor now. It was a Ponzi scheme from the start and has only enriched the very wealthy and allowed the poor to survive. My father paid in the maximum amount of SS during his working years, believing that he would get the maximum amount out but then he found out that the amount reimbursed to a recipient is based on income amounts not what was paid in. As a self-employed individual that amount was far below what he had been paying. One position that I agree with, is that no one making a 6 figure income at retirement should ever get SS benefits. That would help, along with raising the age of retirement.
You conveniently forget Bork and how the Dems demonized him and did not allow him on the SC. So you get your own back when they try to block a progressive nominee.
