We could blame the Republicans for the current unemployment numbers if they had both houses of Congress (like the Dems did from 2006 on).
Ron Paul has lost everytime he has tried to get the Presidency, and for good reason. Though he has some good fiscal ideas - even his son Rand Paul distances himself from many of his father's ideas, because they're looney.
We don't but Russia just sent a private space vessel to the space station with an American aboard. They are now ahead of us again!
May I suggest that government stay out of "forced abortions" or anything else to do with children. I do believe that the government should NOT be paying for women to have children. If the man who impregnants the women can not take care of both woman and child for at least two years then HE should have a vasectomy. If a woman has more than one "accidental" birth, she should have Norplant inserted. Of course both of these ideas are not ideal. The best answer would be for a man and a woman to marry and raise their children with love and affection. Sounds like the Bible doesn't it. ;-)

"establishment candidate"? That would mean he has been in the "establishment" of Washington DC. which he has not. The establishment candidates are Gingrich, Santorum and Paul. Romney has not been part of the "establishment" per se. I agree that we need to elect more conservative congressmen/women, but Romney is our only hope for the presidential election and the best hope to save this great country of ours. If you oppose him then you are not a true conservative nor a good Republican.

You aren't really a conservative Republican or you wouldn't be saying "if...Obama wins, then so be it." You show your true colors, my friend, and they are not nice.

Romney is far more conservative than Obama and even Paul.

Ron Paul has doomed his own campaign by being "far left" in many of his ideas. The GOP did not "engineer" anything except to allow the members of said party to vote their choice. Here in WA, Ron Paul supporters tried to out-manuveur the party rules so they could get delegates for Paul. Fortunately the rest of the delegates at our District conventions were on to their "tricks" and defeated their attempts. They lost mostly because some of the Paul supporters said they would not vote for anyone else, thus showing that they did not care if Obama was still in the WH. That's not the kind of delegates we need. The Paul supporters here showed immaturity and ignorance.
