You may laugh, but your comment shows how little you understand about local politics. The Tea Parties are in this for the long term and taking control of school boards is an important step. Unfortunately the left learned the importance of school boards decades ago.

I was at a tea party meeting where an event was being planned. Someone suggested that the Washington Post should be notified so they could send a reporter to cover it. The immediate reaction was swift, there is no reason to invite the Post. If they do cover the story (unlikely), they will probably do a hatchet job, so why give them the opportunity? The problem for the Washington Post is that we are their readership who are dropping our subscriptions and opting for other media outlets. If you only pay attention to the MSM, then you will be surprised this November.
