The sad truth is that they think they will have peace of mind if/when this is accomplished, but they won't. This is because in their hearts they know how they are living is sinful. I've had many gay friends over the years who achieved wealth, fame, success, relationships, yet they were never at peace. The pleasures of the world never satisfy. Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:13-14

In my book, When the Crosses are Gone, I warn that when a culture abandons thinking and logic in favor of feelings and emotions, it is doomed to destruction. Although emotions are a very important part of the human psyche, when they control every aspect of life, morality becomes a victim.

Today, there is widespread agreement that morality in America is deteriorating with breathtaking speed.
