I would add that Gov. Palin would be a great pick for either secretary of the Interior (over national parks) or head of the ATF.

I wish everyone would stop referring to the CURRENT TAX RATE as a "tax cut" -- It was a tax cut 8 years ago, now it is the existing tax rate; anything above it is a tax hike and anything below it is a tax cut. If the Obamination in office were interested in even "appearing republicanesque" he would not only have continued the current tax rates indefinitely, but gone one better and put in for an across the board cut of somewhere in the realm of 7-10%. Of course, Shapiro is right on in his article ... this is just self preservation and helping the mushy middle marshmallow head moderate to liberal (reading this McCain?) republicans and independents to feel warm and fuzzy about his "efforts" -- what kills me is that even with a HUGE...

Hollywood: Land of Libertarianism

I don't look to Hollywood for my values or moral guidance; I do look to them for an escape of the day to day and entertainment.

Admittedly, I find that the movies I am willing to spend the amount of money a ticket and the requisite popcorn & cherry coke run are few.

Whatever happened to personal choice? I don't need conservative pundits to tell me what I should or shouldn't do anymore than I need Hollywood to. You are blessed with God given free agency, will or choice; it is the right and dare I say responsibility each of us has to make our own choices using information we have at the time, freely accepting the consequences of those choices.

I go to movies; even an "R" rated one though they are few and far...

Well, as if there is any doubt about it, we now have proof positive that Mr. Buchanan is an un-repentant anti-Semite.

It is long time past that he is disinvited from being the darling of the right and speak on behalf of conservative movement in America. If the editorial board of TH have any integrity or intellectual honesty they will cease to run his columns immediately.

He should be relegated to speaking tours with other anti-Semitic nut jobs like his stormfront contribution taking buddy Ron Paul, Grover Nordquist and Jimmy Carter.

If 80% of gazans rely on charity it is because they are professional victims -- the by product of socialism and tin-pot dictator propping bodies like the UN.

It's about time that we all realize that the common denominator for all the global ills is in fact the UN. Everything they touch becomes drenched in corruption, lies and deceit. At it's root is a deep hatred of capitalism, liberty and democracy. What do you expect from an entity that, since its inception has propped up thugs, dictators and corruption? The entire body embraces socialism and is power hungry reaching its tenticles into every aspect of your life from family planning (read population control) to the environment (read destriuction of the economy). They are hellbent on total domination and to make all things equal (read everyone will be a 3rd world hell hole) when scrutinized under the light of reason and logic this...
