Sir, this is a comment I left on the facebook page of a WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT / FOX NEWS, tonight: http://www.defendjohnhatley.com Mike, I also have a book in the works and my writer and agent have titled it, "Scapegoat". If anyone can speak about the flaws of these wars, I certainly can, because the flaw of the detainee catch & release policy allowed 87,000 to be detained in the Iraq war, but 77,000 were released, as reported by CNN last year. In my own research, this past March, an overcrowded TIF -Theater Internment Facility named Camp Bucca in Iraq was closed & handed over to the Iraqi govt. What do you think happened to those detainees? Most likely set free, back out onto the streets of Iraq to be 2nd chancers at killing & or...

Mr. Mike Reagan, I was at the David Horowitz retreat in Santa Barbara and tried to meet you. I sat and listened to your speech and your funny impressions of your father, former President Reagan. Sir, I need your help. Dear sir,

CNN covered our story back in Nov 2009. My husband served 20 yrs for the US Army, highly decorated & was sent to prison for an act that saved American lives in OIF 06-08, Baghdad, Iraq which at pre-surge, was one of the most violent times in Baghdad. 2 other of his soldiers were sentenced to prison as well. The FLAWED DETAINEE CATCH & RELEASE POLICY is insanity. CNN's investigative reporting uncovered that in the Iraq war, 87,000 enemy combatants were detained, but 77,000 were released, all for so-called, lack of evidence? This is a WAR, so where are the POW camps? The DHAA's - Detainee Holding Annex Areas are corrupt and the flawed policy is still in effect to this day. Second chancers are allowed to be put out on the...

"Victory" in Iraq? Really? [Part 3]

Which should make the United States, founded and defined by such freedom, look before nation-building, and ask: Do we really want Americans to "surge" and risk death to build nations such as this to stand as monuments to "victory"?

On that note, I am compelled to write that, do we really want Americans to "surge" and continue risking death to our OWN, due to the very flawed, "detainee catch & release policy". It continues to put our troops in danger, just as it did with my husband, formerly Infantry First Sergeant John E. Hatley of A.Co. 1-18 Infantry, now redesignated at 172nd BCT out of Schweinfurt, Germany. He and 2 other soldiers were sent to prison for allegedly killing 4 "insurgents" that they "attempted" to turn in to...
