You should move to Russia, Cuba or North Korea. Those are your type of people. They do a great job of taking care of the poor. Idiot

"A majority of homeless are alcoholics or drug addicts."

You don't know what the fvck you are talking about. The majority of homeless are there because they got evicted from their homes. Because they didn't have money.

Shunting them all off as alcoholics and drug addicts is pathetic and demeaning even for you. Perhaps as you age, your brain will rot and develop Alzheimer's, at that point you deserve to be thrown on your butt onto the street, penniless, hungry and mentally ill. Then, maybe, you will have some empathy for those on the lowest rung on the ladder of society.

They refuse help because they refuse to follow rules.

Mitt Romney shared a remarkable story at a campaign rally in Iowa today, his voice wavering and cracking slightly as he described the tragic death of a former Navy SEAL he'd met years earlier.  The young man was from Massachusetts; he died in Benghazi during the September 11 terrorist attack against the American consulate that claimed the life of US Ambassador Chris Stevens.  Here is Mitt's stirring and moving tribute:
