Every one of you are sickening. You'd rather 'lose to Hilary'. Christie's too fat Christie is a Rino.... YOU are exactly the reason Obama is sitting in the White House today, making everyone miserable. EVERY thing he shoves down our throats the next four years is YOUR faults. Know why? Because his Democratic turnout was millions LESS than in 2008. But WE had MILLIONS of Libertarians who were too busy pouting about Ron Paul to vote WE had MILLIONS of evangelicals who refused to vote for a Mormon and WE had MILLIONS who refused to vote for a moderate. Cut your own noses off to spite your faces, because the person wasn't 'perfect' Pat yourselves on the back when you get Hilary

i don't know what makes you think so highly of Christie. He's nothing but a damrat in republicans clothing. We don't need another McCain in D.C.

Fundamentally, I agree with you despite the fact that your numbers are greatly exaggerated. However, Christie is much too liberal to be the candidate. He's way to the left of Romney, which makes him a perfect Republican for NJ. However, whoever our candidate ultimately is, if the purists don't learn to get out and support our candidate despite his imperfections (no matter who it is they won't be perfect enough for somebody) we can look forward to another Clinton presidency.

.... Republican principles, why not run Hillary as the Republican candidate? She'd be sure to get lots of Democratic votes, too.

He's fundamentally too short-sighted & too immature to have a shot at the Presidency. Christie made a fool of himself fawning all over Obama prior to the election, and also threw one of his typical histrionic fits when House Republicans balked at approving all the pork in his Hurricane Sandy "aid" bill. He went out of his way to ingratiate himself to Obama in his unthinking fear, and most Republicans are revolted by him as a result. Also, think of all the film clips that could be cut of him throwing tantrums and abusing reporters. Not Presidential material.
The only people Christie appeals to in unusual numbers, the only group with whom he has unusual favorability, are Democrats. So, if we don't mind sacrificing Republican votes, and ...
The popular annual Conservative Political Action Conference, held in the Washington, D.C. area every year and the largest annual gathering of conservatives, has so far not extended an invitation to popular Republican Governor Chris Christie this year.

ABC News reports:

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is “not being invited” to CPAC, according to a source close to the event who was not authorized to speak publicly. The source would not answer why Christie, who is widely thought to be interested in the 2016 presidential race, would not be invited to the confab of conservative activists.
