Are you referring to side effects like de-regulation and major banks over leveraging themselves by purchasing poorly underwritten mortgages and inventing securitization which was destined to fail but only after they reaped massive profits and passed the losses onto tax payers.? I don't have a short memory, I just understand the financial crisis a lot better than you do.
