Hagel is the one who keeps falling back on his Vietnam experience as the reason he is so qualified to be Secretary of Defense. He's got nothing else that connects him to this important position. His is merely a sinecure to the Almighty One in the White House. Obama wants to decimate the military and give all that money to social programs when what the Federal Govt should be doing is providing for the common defense and getting the H out of programs best served by the states and local governments.
