Liberals love to feel good about their compassion to others. It's not necessary for them to make the sacrifices of, say, voluntary charitable contributions to back their sense of compassion. They want the government to pass laws to coerce compassion from everyone else. Liberals also never ask does their feeling good about themselves really help the people they profess to care so much about? Of course not. I have a relative who is a bleeding heart and loves to emblazon on her words just how caring she is. She talks so lovingly about her cleaning lady. When I asked her what she pays her, she said "I'm embarrassed to tell you how little." Then she jumps in her Lexus and off she goes.
