How Gays and Women Get In Their Own Way

KevNC Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 9:04 AM
So, if I understand correctly - gays and women should not expect to be a part of groups who wish to discriminate, they should form seperate but equal groups of their own? Gee, where have we heard this logic before? It's interesting that you bring up Ellen Degeneres. The reason Hollywood execs were reluctant was because they were worried that loving, accepting people like you would raise such a stink over a lesbian being on the air, that they would have to pull the show. Perhaps you don't remember how loving you all were when she became the JC Penney spokesperson. There were articles on this very site decrying the situation and encouraging people to support One Million Mom's boycott.

Substitute "pedophile" for "gay" in any argument defending the latter and you'll see how convincing it sounds.

You argue in a previous post that you had a "friend" who was gay. Was he a pedophile? If so, did you report him to the police to protect all of the children in town? If not, have you turned yourself in for allowing him to rape children?

It's sad that you need this pointed out - Gay does not equal pedophile.

I know gay does not equal pedophile. However, both homosexuality and pedophilia are in the same category as both are abnormal sexual preferences.
DCM in FL Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 10:14 AM
And, no, my late friend wasn't a pedophile to my knowedge.
KevNC Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 10:19 AM
The same category? That is the stupidest rationalization I have ever heard! You obviously think that they are the same or you wouldn't have brought it up as a point of comparison! You make several comments about homosexuals and pedophiles throughout this thread! If you are going to marginalize a group of people and base your opinions on bigotry and hate, be open about it. People would respect you more for at least being honest.
DCM in FL Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 10:25 AM
How is that a stupid rationalization? Because you personally disagree with it? Don't like it? Don't understand it?

There is no bigotry or hate in my opinions. There is only an understanding of abnormal sexual preferences and their roots. One such preference is always going to be analogous to another; that's not saying they're equal.

Besides, you must be unaware of the extent to which the "pedo-rights" movement has tried to ride on the coattails of the "gay-rights" movement. There IS a parallel, whether you like (or understand) it or not.

I also find it interesting that the only thing you call women out on is nuns wanting to be priests? Really? This is a major issue right now? You seem to be trying to include women in your article to make is seem like you are not attacking gays, even though you clearly are. FYI - The issue with Chick fil A is the donations to groups that are actively against gay rights, not just gay marriage. All that has been proposed is to not eat there. That is not extreme. It is perfectly reasonable. Gays were kicked out of the BSA because of the unfounded fears and prejudices of people like you. Gays are not randomly picking groups to join. Don't try to sugar coat your bigotry, just be honest with yourself and everyone else and proudly state that...

"All that has been proposed is to not eat there." - Guess you forgot about the "kiss-in" or whatever it was called.

"Gays were kicked out of the BSA because of the unfounded fears and prejudices of people like you." - Take a look at the (large) proportion of same-sex molestations compared to the (small) proportion of people having same-sex attractions, and you'll see how "unfounded" such concerns really are.

#1 - The so-called kiss-in was arranged by only a few gay groups and did not exactly go as well as they thought it would. Most gay people were actually against the act since it sent the wrong message about the issue.

#2 - If you use the actions of a small group and apply them to everyone, is that fair? Should we use crime statistics to restrict the membership of black people in various groups? Should we ban all white men between the ages of 18-34 from high school and college campuses based on the recent history of shootings? I would say no, but based on your response, I'm guessing logic isn't relevant in your decisions.
DCM in FL Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 10:16 AM
#2 - I'm not sure how this is a response to what I said. My point was that simple math shows that those with same-sex attractions are FAR more likely to engage in pedophilia than those without them. This is simple reality.
KevNC Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 10:27 AM
I guess that you missed the point that it is a disgusting suggestion to essentially brand people as criminals based on nothing more than math.
DCM in FL Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 10:30 AM
Not just math. Math applied to reality.
Barbara1247 Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 11:01 AM
Statistically, blacks are more likely to commit crimes than other ethnic groups are. Should we use that fact to discriminate against all blacks, or should we treat every person as an individual? How would you, yourself, wish to be treated?
Barbara1247 Wrote: Feb 04, 2013 11:03 AM
Math applied to reality tells us that most crime is committed by males - and some crimes, such as rape, almost exclusively by males. Would we be justified in jailing the entire male population as a preventive measure?

Gays can be leaders. Women can be leaders. Without realizing it, I think gays and women inadvertently work against their own objective of equality when they force private organizations to support gay and female leaders.

As I wrote here, gays and women are already equal before the Constitution, which defines us by our humanity, not by our sexuality, and is silent on most personal matters like marriage. Furthermore, the more the federal government defines our rights, the less free, equal and human we all become.

Here is what generally happens when minority groups confuse social acceptance with equality...
