The argument Mr. Tallman makes it pretty ridiculous, and is rather easily shown to be such. Many of the points he makes are correct, esspecially that people are not good, and should not be trusted. Further, he is 100% correct in pointing out that the Founders recognized this. The most important point however, one clearly missed on Mr. Tallmanm but not on the Founders, is that these same, bad, untrustworthy people, are the very same ones who would run the Government. Yes, people are bad, and will do bad things. However, a bad person has the power of a person. But since we recognize all people are bad, we recognize they will do bad thingsa, when they occupy Government offices. So we have the same amount of bad, but with substantially more...

Anyone who thinks that open homosexuality in the ranks would not harm morale has clearly never served. In addition to the morale problems that it would present, there are several logistical problems. Additionally, several people point to other nations allowing homosexuals to serve openly. The problem with this, we have the greatest military on the planet. Why on earth would we emulate inferior militaies?
