The Obama Culture Arrives

There are few things more traditional than cannabis and prostitution. The first has been cultivated for thousands of years, and became illegal as part of FDR's New Deal. the second is the second oldest profession in the world (after hunting-gathering). For Brent to so breezily dismiss these as bad culture, indicates he is out of touch with history, and wants to impose "Christian" culture by force.

I have to agree with that. There is more than one valid version of family values. I have no problem with gay people getting married. Heck, let them be subject to the marriage penalty like every other married couple. It doesn't affect me in the least who other people choose to share their lives with. I do agree that Family Guy is stupid, but I support everyone's right to watch such dreck if they choose. The fact that garbage like that is so popular is kind of sad.

That said, I'm thoroughly disgusted with the obvious leftist bias in the media. No matter what happens, it's always the fault of the GOP. It's completely unbalanced and sadly, far too many are easily swayed by what these media and Hollywood "stars" say.
The year 2012 was a depressing time for people who are already pessimistic about the state of our common culture. Conversely, the re-election of Barack Obama, in large measure made possible by the heavy financial support of Hollywood, projects the optimism of the cultural Left. They anticipate increased blue-state voting patterns in favor of gay "marriage," legalized pot, gun regulations, and what next? Legalized prostitution? Euthanasia subsidized by Obamacare?

So let's just line up the cultural winners of Obama's America, where the only impediments to progress are those who believe in religion, manners and "family values."

Winner: Seth...
