Awards have been grotesquely high in far too many cases.. Assets which have taken a lifetime to build are too often wiped out in a single liability case. Court costs are unfair and often prohibitive. I agree that injured parties should be compenstated and quickly, but our system is allowing the legal industry to feed on citizens and enrich attorneys. This isn't justice. There is an enormous conflict of interest in our system of allowing Attorneys to hold office and make the laws which govern the compensation of themselves, in and out of office. Take a look at your yellow pages and see how many attorneys are listed. This is an insult to justice and the aspirations of our founding ideals.

HEAR, HEAR! Couldn't have said it better. Islam HAS been at war with EVERYONE else for 1400 years, and even though there are millions of sane Muslims who don't practice murder, the facts don't change. I am enraged by the silence of our western media organizations who don't even REPORT the murders of Christians, Buddhists, Hindus and Jews by Muslims, but if anyone here in the USA even cracks a joke about Muslims or Mohammed it makes HEADLINES. We definately have enemies among us, face it or not.

American excellence really refers to our form of government, not our desire to be the best or by virtue of being Americans. A return to some form of feudalism will certainly regain control if we don't even understand what existed before the Constitutional Republic. This is the ultimate goal of modern progressives and unwitting liberals who constantly berate and undermine the constitution and rewrite history for our school children; another form of a ruling class.

Better rule Cuba out. Even Fidel himself admitted in an interview last year that their communist government was a failure. No new industry, no new anything, just a slow agonizing spiral of one temporary patch after another to keep the ship afloat.
