A flood is not a hurricane, but self reliance works. New Orleanians were upset that thousands of volunteers traveled up to 200 miles to help.
More volunteers (100,000) than residents. Volunteer is not found in the dictionary of New Orleans.

Since these foot baths are built with public funds, all Americans should be able to cleanse their feet in them. Kind of like a public park.

Smelly feet are such a terrible thing when it can be prevented by a foot bath.

As a young educator I had to take an oath of allegiance to the US & swear not to overthrow the existing govt.

I had no difficulty in doing this as I would have automatically done this, oath or no oath. But soon those oaths were declared unconstitutional and where has it gotten us?

The US, Israel, United Kingdom, & a few other nations have a vast number of their own citizens that work toward the destruction of their respective nations and Western civilization as well. There is no thought, let alone plan, for a better future.

Leftists hold their own countries to the highest moral & ethical standards and then excuse the most depraved cruelty and barbarism by the enemies their nations. The outcome of which is the burial of decency on a 'Boot Hill'.

4. The perversion of the 14th Amendment: The purpose was to prevent former slaves from being forced back into slavery by twisting the law. So former slaves & children of former slaves would be forever free. You had to be in the US legally & with the intent to become a citizen to be a natural born citizen. The children of diplomats, tourists, illegal aliens born in the US would not be US citizens.

4 things occurred in the US in the 1960s that put us where we are today. My dates & exact titles may be a bit off, but they are all real.

1. The Immigration Reform Act of 1965: Essentially it shut off immigration from the nations whose people made us a great nation. It allowed unlimited immigration from south of the Rio Grande, Asia, & Africa. What needed reforming, we were suppose to be a great nation then.
