Imagine the stupidity of an administration that requires the leader of a "small Middle Eastern country" to point out the obvious.
Could David Gregory look any more desperate to have Netanyahu bail out Obama's image? "Do you agree or disagree with Governor Romney's charge? It's a serious charge." ... "It seems to me for you to remain silent on whether this administration has thrown Israel under the bus, is tantamount to agreeing with the sentiment, so where do you come down on that specific charge against President Obama?" ... "So President Obama has not thrown Israel under the bus?" Disgusting.
This sounds like fear talking to me. Team Romney should do what it takes to win and nothing more. The popular vote is irrelevant in the eyes of the law. Spending money in an effort to win it is not only a misuse of resources, it also lends credit to those who advocate a change in the election system. If Americans have fallen so far out of love with our Constitution that the situation outlined in this article could come to pass, our problems are beyond the capacity of Mr. Romney or any other politician to rectify.
Thanks for the explanation. It's amazing how words and ideas, even when translated into one's own language, can carry such vastly different meaning to people in different cultures and circumstances.
