Allow me to mirror your comments. Religion is something that may have been helpful in early human history, and for young people. But advanced societies and mature persons can cast those crutches in the can. Let us face reality with the best of our humanism, not the superstitions of our past. Let us cleanse our pimples with Clearasil, and our culture with reason. And walk into the sunlight, from the dark ages; into enlightenment, from the dark recesses of our evolutionary past.

We should reject religion and live by Faith. Amazing how people when people think they are smart they become closed minded.

Humanism is disgusting....seriously. Have you seen people that claim to be humanists? Go to a university if you haven't.

Ayn Rand is back in the news, as she always is in the subconscious of healthy American males. Reading her is as much a developmental stage as puberty. Most grow out of it, but that doesn't mean it leaves them, it just becomes part of their make-up somewhere back there. Like old girlfriends or nights on the town fondly remembered, but not something they'd want to go through again, please God.

For a brief bright period, as with all forms of intoxication, the subject is convinced he's discovered the secret of the universe, the essence of existence, his purpose in life...
