I'm not supporting criminal laws against adultery. My point is that it is not mere coincidence that only after everything was stripped from marriage aside from 1) forming a financial corporation/partnership and 2) assignment of paternity - that the push to neuter marriage got serious. How many homosexual people would be willing to enter into an agreement that would hold them criminally liable for having sex with someone other than their spouse? Heterosexuals did it for centuries.
