Here is the advice to college-bound kids in a nutshell: Forget a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Get a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. That is the key differentiator that you ignore. A BS in anything prepares you for many potential jobs. A BA is extremely unlikely to prepare you for anything. BS or don't waste your time.
