OTOH,on a NYC subway train,Bernard Goetz used a handgun to keep four young punks armed with screwdrivers from robbing him.
(and DIDN'T hit any bystanders,on a commuter train!)
Then NYC came down on Goetz like a ton of bricks, punishing a crime VICTIM for defending himself. He did some jail time,ISTR.

Thomas Jefferson...McCarthy is a complete moron..Her husband was killed and son wounded on the LIRR by a nut with a gun..He was able to do that because the Sullivan law in NY which is the bible of liberals and as racist a law as was ever passed, kept a good person from shooting that guy..the Sullivan law helped to kill her husband..did she go after a repeal of it? NO, she got elected to congress by siding with clowns like schumer.

ever see the video of Tucker Carlson (now with the Daily Caller) taking on Carolyn McCarthy (D- New York) about her lack of knowledge with respect to assault weapons. She wants to include barrel shrouds as part of a new assault weapons ban. Tucker Carlson asks her to define what a barrel shroud is and she can't do it. She finally says something like, "it's that thing that goes on your shoulder". But she's out there telling us what features on a firearm the federal government should ban. Folks, a large central government, big enough to provide everything we need, is by definition powerful enough to take everything we have, including our freedom. Someone famous made that statement or something similar to it. I can't recall the person.
